Chicago is fast becoming one of the biggest business centers of America, slowly taking over New York for top billing. Chicago has its own style when it comes to just about everything and that includes doing business. Several major companies have moved from other parts of the United States into the Chicago area to do their business because of the new business climate Chicago is now putting out. Chicago, business center of America is in the heartland of the United States; it’s not to east cost and it’s not west coast so people feel more comfortable doing their business in the Chicago area, no matter what the business might be. In addition, there are two airports to service the incoming and outgoing traffic of business travelers; Chicago seems like the perfect place to hold out of town business meetings and conferences. Just as New York has a Stock Exchange, so to does Chicago, the Chicago Stock Exchange and businesses flock to the Chicago area to be near this federally insured and protected stock exchange. Chicago is big business no matter what street you are working on. There is no Wall Street; however there is a street where stocks and bonds are traded and money is made and lost just as quickly as it is in New York. Chicago is the business center of America because it is in the center of the Untied States and everyone has easy access to it. Chicago is the home base for many of the large companies and restaurants chains which choose to plant their headquarters in Chicago because they know that Chicago is the center of the business America and is growing financially and with new business everyday.

In addition to being the hub for several major airlines, Chicago is also the home town for many major trucking and transportation companies. Many choose Chicago because of its central location and growth potential in the financial arena. Companies like those who make baked goods or food and snack product base their headquarters in Chicago because of the many people willing to work long hours for great pay in a town that is now know as the business center of America. There is never a shortage of jobs in the Chicago area because there are so many new plants and businesses opening up in the Chicago area. And when people and businesses relocate to Chicago to work, there is not a shortage of things to do in the great windy city by the water. There are two baseball teams, a basketball team, football and a theater district that is giving Broadway a run for its money. Plus, each of these activities is businesses in their own right and employee hundreds of people as well as the ‘regular’ 9-to-5 businesses do.

Chicago is the most likely place to think of when thinking of relocating your business to a place where there are people willing to work hard, have a good work ethic and there are a number of things to do besides work. Chicago is the business center of America because New York is too far east for some people and Los Angels is too far west for others.
